Does anyone know how the dessert tastes?
Decent food. Pho was very very bland. Better pho in the area is not that far.
The banh mi is the best I've had in nyc. The bread is crunchy and soft. The meat is so flavorful. Their pho is not bad either. It's a spot with great character and it's a nice break from the hip surrounding. Service is great and staff is kind. I def recommend. If you add an egg on your banh mi be aware its not Sunnyside up but rather scrambled, that being said it adds a nice texture
MoreI had the pho with chicken and it was fantastic. Maybe the best ive ever had. I am definitely coming back. I highly recommend it.
MoreGreat portions, great value, good service. Food is good but nothing to write home about. Good for a quick meal.
MoreBeef pho was great! Really fast, inexpensive, and fresh food.
Not to be dramatic but V-Nam cafe was the best hungover decision I have ever made. Also vegan friendly. 10/10
MoreDelicious, cheap, friendly! The Bahn mi was all the right things
Love the food here, they even have vegan options! Best Viet place in East village hands down.
MoreClay pot chicken is to die for. If you can't finish it because you ordered a bunch of other tasty things there, take it to go. Clay pot chicken tastes just as good if not better when reheated. It's magic.
MoreGreat service! Amazing affordable food! Thank you!
Tasty pho! Great prices
Small hole in the wall place and great food! Good pho and variety of other tasty stuff in their menu. Definitely a place to try out! 🤙🏽
MoreLooks may be deceiving as you pass by this hole in the wall place on 1st ave...but if you’ve ever been to Vietnam it’s exactly the same way! The shrimp summer rolls were 100% on point as was the Beef Pho. I went the extra mile and ordered a Vietnamese iced coffee...still very good but nothing like getting it in Vietnam. On the contrary it’s American sized which I loved. Service here is welcoming and open arms. Can’t wait to return!
MorePrices are great, lots of great food, fast and great service. Also my favorite soy protein option at any Vietnamese restaurant in the city.
MoreHas a wide selection of vegan sandwiches, salads, noodles and noodle soup with soy protein and tofu options. Customizable ingredients and authentic flavors.
MoreLoved this place! Not fancy, but great food, quick and friendly service, and very reasonably priced. I will return any time I'm in the area.
MoreA hole in the wall with authentic Vietnamese food and excellent service. Can't go wrong! The food arrives fast and was very delicious. Will definitely go again!
MoreSmall but good. Good pricing and nice servers.
Fantastic food, clay pot red fish was one of the best fish and Rice meals I've ever had.
MoreThis place is the real deal. If you are looking for delicious, authentic Vietnamese food at a great price, this is it. The chicken pho is excellent and this is about the best you can get outside of Saigon. The owner, Huang, is also the head chef and he cares deeply about his food. If you are in the East Village, and looking for a great Vietnamese meal - this is the spot!
MorePretty dang good! The quality exceeds the price and the pho broth is really rich and flavorful. Tiny little spot but nice owner and quick service.
MoreIt's a bit hole in the wall and seems dirty but the service is friendly and the food is awesome. I love the veggie pho. The broth is spectacular!
MoreNot sure why this place is so highly rated. The vermicelli chicken is virtually tasteless and rubbery. Not fresh at all. I've had much better. Save your $8.
MoreLove this place! Great food♡
Dont discount this hole in the wall.. bahn mi was amazing. The beef pho was a bit dry.
MoreAuthentic Vietnamese comfort foods.
I love V-Nam! My favorite banh mi in the city. It is s flavorful and is great left over! I always recommend my friends to go here and even better that it is BYOB.
MoreOne of the best I had in new york
Excellent food, friendly staff, quick service.
Great food at an affordable price. Very fast delivery!
The best Banh mi ive ever had! A Small no-fuss place with fast service! Go try it!
MoreMy favorite Vietnamese restaurant in The East Village. Love the Pho Veggie with Soy meat.
MoreBest pho spot in the LES. Low price, high quality. No frills, I love supporting this business.
MoreIf you're looking for Vietnamese street food style food, this is a solid spot. VERY affordable, especially for the area.
MoreGreat place to have a casual lunch.
Best banh mi I’ve ever had. Super friendly staff too
Amazing meal with excellent service
There’s some things I miss about California and it’s Vietnamese food. V-Nam reminds me of one of those late night Vietnamese food places back home with an east village vibe. It’s a small cafe with a simple menu. I had their vermicelli and soy meat. It was tasty. Food didn’t take long. It wasn’t crowded inside. Great place to dine alone. One of my top Vietnamese places in NYC. I will definitely come back.
MoreGreat pho and relatively cheap for NYC. Small but cozy.
Good quality food at a very reasonable price
Best bahn mis I’ve ever had (including Vietnam). Unbeatable!
My favorite hole in the wall. Great food, very affordable and very low key.
I think this might be my new favorite place to get Pho in the city! I've been to so many Pho places and have been disappointed. I'm so blessed that I stumbled upon this place.I got the veggie pho and the broth was so flavorful. The soy protein was amazing with little pieces of chili peppers. I like that they served the soy on the side so it didn't get soggy.
MoreCurry sunfish vermicelli bowl was really good. Generous portions and flavors were great
MoreCozy little Vietnamese joint with plenty of options, great service, and cheap prices!
MoreA delicious pho! Very well priced, very nice staff. My favorite Vietnamese place, always reliable, in Lower manhattan!
MoreYummmy and affordable!!! The spring rolls were so good - plenty of lettuce to wrap with and the fish sauce was great. Got the beef banh mi extra spicy and it was great. Viet iced coffee was delicious and cheap! Very friendly, will be my go to spot when I’m in the East Village!
MoreDelicious chicken curry moodle soup. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and great service.
MoreExcellent pho on a rainy day
Antetive and fast service. Crack that hit the spot!
